We always keep our prices competitive and can match or beat any written quote.

The best tyre match depends on the type of car you have, your driving style, where you drive and when you drive. Our qualified technicians are always happy to make a recommendation. Some of the questions we’d ask you are:

What type of car do you drive?

All car models are different. The tyres that go with your car depend on the load carrying capacity, the maximum speed and other characteristics of your car. You can check your car manual, read the tyre size on the side of the tyre – or ask us when you come in.

If you’re a petrolhead, you need tyres that have high levels of grip on both dry and wet roads. Tyres that respond quickly to acceleration and cornering. Tyres that provide maximum stability under that type of performance.

Where do you drive most often?

In the city: You consume more fuel in the city. However, you can save on your bills by choosing low-rolling-resistance tyres. Because you need to brake and accelerate more often. Therefore you will need tyres with a long wear life. Always check your tyres offer an excellent braking distance since you need to brake more often and more rapidly in an urban environment (cyclists, pedestrians, traffic lights…).

Motorways / Commuter: If you drive a lot on motorways or A roads, you drive faster than average. That’s why you need high-performance tyres that will ensure your safety, whatever the weather conditions. Since you probably do a lot of long distances. We recommend you choose a tyre that offers maximum comfort, least noise and less vibrations.

Off-road and rural driving: SUVs need 4×4 tyres that are impact-resistant, and offer excellent performance and traction for both on and off-road. If you use your SUV mostly on roads, it is best to choose a tyre that will give you a comfortable experience on the road with some extra features for off-road conditions.

When do you drive?

You can choose all-season tyres or the combination of winter and summer tyres. Come in or call to ask about tyres for all seasons 020 8361 8888.

Can you salvage a damaged tyre?

At Highview Garage we also offer a puncture repair service. We will do as much as we can to repair and save a tyre when possible.

Can I just come down without an appointment?

There is no need to book an appointment for this service and it can even be carried out while you wait. We do suggest you call in first if possible as we can get extremely busy – 020 8361 8888.

We take road safety very seriously and if your tyres are worn or damaged your car safety and handling will be compromised. There are also legal requirements for all tyre conditions. These can lead to hefty fines and points on your license.
